Brown finished 17th at Concord
Tim Brown and his Cirle K Thirstbuster/Hayes Jewelers Chevy was primed and ready. After rain washed away the opening round of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Series at Caraway Speedway the week prior, Brown's long winter was over.
After qualifying 7th on the grid, Tim quickly picked up three position to move into the top five. Lap 120 of the 150 lap event, Brown suffered powered steering loss while running in the top ten.
"We will regroup and get ready for the double header next weekend where we always run well, Ace and Caraway." Brown finished the night in 17th overall and looks to capture his 1st National title with a strong showing next week.

Rain washed away the opening round of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour at Caraway Speedway on Saturday night, leaving many anxious to get racing.
"We had a test at Bristol last week and now we are ready to race but it will have to wait til Concord", claimed Tim Brown.
Brown looks to capture the elusive Whelen Southern Modified Championship for his resume' after three runner-up finishes in the points in the last four years.

Tim Brown 4th at South Boston

Tim Brown got his Championship run back in form at South Boston Speedway Saturday night with a stong 4th place finish. After another week of rainouts, the 7-time Bowman-Gray Champion drove from the 7th starting position to the top five.
Not only was Brown's run impressive but so was his leap in the point standings from 17th to 7th overall and just 30 points from third.
Brown will now head to Ace Speedway and Caraway for action on Friday and Saturday night in his Circle K Thirstbuster/Hayes Jewelers machine.

Tim Brown was on a terror. Qualifying again in the top 10, the Circle K Thirstbuster Chevy was poised for a top three run on Saturday night at Caraway Speedway. With only 20 laps to the finish, Brown suffered a cut tire which dropped him to the rear after a pit stop.
Like a man on a mission, Brown drove the #83 through the pack to finish an impressive 9th at the checkered flag. Brown continues to press forward despite the bad luck but competitors are taking notice of just how lucky they are. "The kid wants this championship, and if he catch any kind of break, he will capitalize on it", stated Rick Ware.

Tim Brown quailified his Circle K Thirstbuster Chevy 13th on the grid Saturday night in Georgia at Lanier National Speedway. The talented lineup wsa present in front of a large crowd that saw perhaps some of the best racing all season.
Brown, a 7-time Bowman Gray Stadium Champion just could not muster enough to break into the top 10 and finished the event in 11th place. Brown remains 9th in the standings and looks forward to gaining confidence in the next few weeks at the old stomping grounds of Bowman-Gray.

The Champion is back. Just not the Champion but the 7-time Champion. Tim Brown took the opening night win in the Whelen Southern Modified Division at Bowman-Gray Stadium Saturday night, staking his claim for another title! Brown moved his Thirstbuster Circle K Hayes Jewelers ride to the point on lap 98 and never looked back, leading over 100 laps of the feature.
Brown will look to continue his dominance in Winston-Salem, NC for the next month and a half at the track as filming for the "Carolina Nights" follows the Champion for its Discovery Channel show that airs in June after Ice Road Truckers

Brown pads points lead with 2nd & 8th at Bowman
Tim Brown padded his point lead in his chase for his 8th Championship at Bowman-Gray Stadium Saturday night. TB rallied through the field to finish 2nd in the first race and came from the rear to finish 8th in the last race of the evening. Brown holds a comfrontable lead going into the month of May, his strongest month by statistics over the last several years.
Brown wins Again!
Tim Brown padded his point lead in his chase for his 8th Championship at Bowman-Gray Stadium Saturday night with his 2nd win of the season, this time in a 100 lapper. Brown took the lead on lap 44 of 100 in this Circle K Thirstbuster/Hayes Jewelers Chevy. After starting the grid in 8th, Tim took little time to take the point and stretching his point lead early in the season.
"This was a great win for the team and we are getting more confidence as we go along, and that could spell trouble for everyone."

Filming begins for Carolina Nights
The History Channels newest documentary show "Carolina Nights" is well underway. The new show will depict RWR driver Tim Brown in his pursuit of his 8th Championship at the famous Bowman-Gray Stadium. Carolina Lights will also follow Brown to his Nationwide Series debut at Memphis later this season as the climax to the series. The show will begin airing in August and run through February every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday immediately after the networks mega hit, Ice Road Truckers."
Brown grabs runner-up Saturday night
Tim Brown looked strong as ever last night at Bowman-Gray in route to a runner-up finish. TB raced clean and had every turn of every lap to take out the winner but looked at the big picture and brought home the Circle K/Hayes Jewelers entry clean and ready to take point next weekend. "It was a good run for us and I had many chances to spin him but I dont want to race like that. We are looking at the Championship and that is all right now!"
Brown snags pole finishes 3rd but holds Championship lead
Tim Brown returned to his qualifying form Saturday night, winning his first pole of the season. The draw put Brown in the 6th starting position and in just a handful of laps, TB was sitting in 3rd. The double file restarts provides excitement and Brown didnt disappoint, darting to the outside but got pushed to the wall and settled back into the 3rd at the finish. Tim still holds a nice lead in the Championship points standings.

Brown started the night with a solid 3rd place finish and before the evening concluded, Brown rallied to a 5th place finish for Hayes Jewelers/Circle K. More importantly, Brown extends his point lead, chasing number eight at the track trophy collection.

"We really have things cooking right now with this Circle K/Hayes Jewelers #83. We added some points on the guys and putting on a good show for the television crew. We are not going to stop and we look forward to several more weeks of racing at Bowman."

Tim Brown extended his Championship point lead in style with a great win Saturday night leading all but a handful of laps. Brown sat at the point for the event and only handed the lead over during the middle of the race. The Circle K Thirstbuster/Hayes Jewelers car dominated the night and will look to return to victory lane again this coming Saturday night

Tim Brown went back-to-back with wins at Bowman Gray winning his 2nd event in 2 weeks. In doing so, Brown has extended his already impressive points lead.

Brown captures pole and win holds 49 point lead
Tim Brown captured the pole and another impressive win this past weekend, extended his championship point lead to 49. The Champ continued his pressure, starting last in the second race and drove through the field to finish 11th, maintaining the point lead he extended earlier in the evening.
Brown snags 2nd and 8th to hold to Championship
Tim Brown did exactly what he needed to do, closing in with just 3 weeks remaining in the Championship run. Brown qualified the Circle K/Hayes Jewelers car in the 2nd position and stayed his position at the finish, grabbing another Top 5 finish.
In the second race, Brown drew starting position of nineth and moved up one position to finish 8th on the night. Brown still holds a nice point lead of 46 going into the last 3 weekends of racing.
For Brown, smart racing is Championship racing and that has always been the goal in pursuit of his 8th title at Bowman-Gray. The sold out crowd again watched the veteran race fast and smart which has been his forte' over the past decade.
Brown finishes 6th after late race bump
Tim Brown found himself on the opposite end of a beating Saturday night at Bowman-Gray Stadium. The point lead looked to win yet another feature with only two laps to go. On a restart a heavy bumper staggered the champ and sent him to the outside wall where only a true race car driver can save it. Tim kept the Circle K/Hayes Jewelers car off the wall and pointed in the right direction after losing positions.
The sixth place finish was a small sacrafice but the bigger picture was a gain in the point standings that now has increased to 51 points with only two weeks to go.
"I have no comment on the incident, but I am pleased on how this team remains focused on our goal." Brown will compete again Saturday night in hopes of locking up the 8th title at the famed track
Brown 5th and 13th with ONE WEEK TO GO
Tim Brown held on to a 5th and 13th place finish in races at Bowman-Gray Stadium Saturday night to hold onto his Championship lead with just one week to go.
Brown leads the points by 37 points but with a double points night next Saturday the Championship is far from over. "We just have to race smart and continue doing what we do and that is go for the wins."
Brown has been spectacular this season racking up wins and poles all the while piloting his Circle K Thirstbuster/Hayes Jewelers to solid finishes. If Tim can stay at the front Saturday night, he will win his impressive 8th Championship at Bowman-Gray putting him among the best to ever win at the famed track.
Bowman-Gray Modified CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!!!
Tim Brown and his Hayes Jewelers/Circle K Thirstbuster team would not be denied Saturday night at Bowman-Gray Stadium of it's 8th Championship. Brown qualified 3rd for the 150 lap feature and waited til the last 20 laps to make his move into the runner-up position, securing his spectacular 8th title at the track. Not only did he clinche the title at BGS he also maintained his point lead in the NASCAR Whelen North Carolina division with only 2 weeks to go.
Brown's title is only a prelude to big things for the driver as he will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Martinsville in October. The 8th title for Brown signifies the 100th race for RWR this year and its 2nd Championship in 2009
"Madhouse" set to debut January 10th at 9pm EST on History Channel
The day is finally approaching for the entire world to watch Rick Ware Racing driver, Tim Brown at his finest. The History Channel will debut, "Madhouse" on January 10th at 9pm EST immediately after "Ice Road Truckers".
Following the channels feature show will draw nearly a million viewers as the show will air every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday through the first half of the year.
"Madhouse" filmed the entire 2009 NASCAR Whelen Modified season at Bowman-Gray Stadium, following Brown in a quest for his 8th Championship at the track.
The shows finale will feature Brown's step into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when he debuted at Martinsville Speedway last October. Tim will be featured as well as his sponsors Circle K and Hayes Jewelers as the #83 battles for the title
